Compliance Criteria (CC)

A translation of the Fairtrade Standards requirements, binding guidance documents and FLOCERT certification policies into verifiable control points. These criteria are evaluated in the certification process to determine compliance with the Fairtrade Standards and with certification requirements.

Compliance Criteria (CC) are in accordance with the Fairtrade Standards’ minimum and progress requirements, and therefore every CC is linked to a specific timeline indicating when it must be fulfilled. CC are classified as Major Compliance Criteria and regular Compliance Criteria.

All CCs are published by FLOCERT in the public Compliance Criteria lists.
